1. Overview
MVME162-10 is the base entry variant of MVME162 VME SBC series, same MC68LC040 25MHz CPU as MVME162-012, but without onboard Ethernet controller. It features 4MB shared DRAM, 1MB onboard Flash firmware, dual configurable RS232/422 serial ports, four IndustryPack expansion slots, battery-backed 8KB NVRAM + MK48T08 RTC, multi-stage watchdog timer and front-panel status LEDs. It is widely deployed as low-load auxiliary computing nodes for Honeywell TDC3000 LCN network, signal acquisition controllers and background data processing units. No integrated LAN or SCSI interfaces, relies on IndustryPack IP modules to add network or storage peripherals. Standard single-height 6U VME mechanical form factor, supports full A32/D64 VME bus master function for inter-board high-speed data exchange.
